Oden Out For The Season!

According to the Oregonian, Greg Oden has injured his right knee and will be undergoing exploratory surgery in order to determine the extent of the damage. The fact that they have already decided that surgery is needed is not good a good sign.

Oden was going to probably be drafted too early in fantasy drafts this year, so this injury may end up saving fantasy owners from themselves on draft day. More on his injury as it's released.

Update: Yahoo is reporting that Greg Oden will now be out for the entire season as a result of microfracture knee surgery. Yeah, the same surgery that killed KMart's career. Wow, what a huge blow for the Blazers. With how serious this surgery is Oden may never be the same again. LaMarcus Aldridge, Joel Przybilla, and Channing Frye all should have more value now.
