AK vs. Deron: First Blood VI

*Note: If you aren't familiar with the AK situation because you have had your head buried in the sand read my previous blog by CLICKING HERE

The AK saga continues. Kirilenko has reportedly said that he is willing to give up the 63 million dollars remaining on his contract so that he can return to Russia and continue his career there. Well, I guess now we know who David Stern will put at the top of the list to get drug tested.

This crazy story doesn't stop there though. Yesterday Deron Williams gave an interview where he ripped AK's work ethic and admitted to freezing him out, saying, "You think you're going to pass to the guy you see working every day in the gym or are you going to pass to the guy who never works on his shot but yet wants to shoot 'em every time?".

What does this mean for fantasy owners? Well, the fact that Deron has now admitted to freezing out AK probably increases the likelihood that Kirlenko doesn't show for training camp, or if he does show he will not be in the right state of mind. If the Jazz can find a way to trade AK that would probably be best for all parties involved, including fantasy owners.

No word yet on whether or not AK will respond to Deron, but rumor has it that AK plans on killing Williams' friend and rival Chris Paul to show the world that he is for real and send a message to Williams. He will follow that up by staring down Deron and threatening him by saying, "I must break you" in a heavy Russian accent. Deron will get into the ring with AK, where it will be Russian science and steroids vs. American determination and work ethic. It should be a great fight.

Seriously though, keep your eyes on this situation. Things appear to be getting worse right now, and it feels like we are almost to the point of no return for AK in Utah.
